# Find your way around

Understand the owner workspace, teammate access and partner portal.

## What you need

An owner, teammate or partner sign-in. Public documentation can be read without any account.

## Steps

1. Owners use [the app](/app). **Analyze** contains Overview, Customers, Events and Analytics; **Automate** contains Flows; **Grow** contains Affiliates. Manage apps and Developers provide connection controls.
2. Use the app selector to choose an app or all apps where the report supports that scope. A date filter and an app filter answer different questions.
3. In Affiliates, use Programs, Partners, Referrals, Commissions, Payouts, Partner quality and Developers for the corresponding records.
4. Partners use [the partner portal](/partners) for their own programs, referrals, earnings, payments and resources. Team members see the affiliate workspace allowed by their per-app grants.

## Expected result

Navigation and records match the signed-in role and selected app. Opening public docs keeps you in docs even if you have an active owner session.



## Troubleshooting

A missing app may be outside the teammate’s grant. A partner sign-in does not grant owner analytics access. Ask the workspace owner to check [Team access](/docs/app-owners/team).
