Sender settings and delivery

Configure merchant email and Slack using the workspace controls.

On this page

What you need

Access to Settings, an approved sender identity and permission to configure the chosen provider. Existing SMTP or domain setups can be reused.

Steps

  1. In Settings → Merchant emails, choose the sender name and reply-to details.
  2. For SMTP, enter your existing server, login and From address. Saving verifies the provider connection and stores the password encrypted. Inspect its verified/error state and the shown daily allowance.
  3. For a custom sending domain, submit the intended address only when ready to register it with the sending provider. Add the displayed DNS records through your own DNS administrator, then use the verification control.
  4. In Slack alerts, save the intended incoming webhook. Workspace alerts and Flow Slack steps use this destination; affiliate webhook destinations are configured separately.
  5. Preview message content and verify the intended recipient before using any delivery test or live message action.

Expected result

A verified sender/provider state or clear pending DNS state. Until the custom domain is verified the configured fallback sender can be used. A connection check does not prove a merchant received a later message.

Affiliate delivery

Program and payment notifications are separate from merchant Flows. Their delivery state and webhook attempts are available in affiliate notification/developer controls. See Affiliate webhooks.

Troubleshooting

Use a domain you control for custom-domain sending; freemail domains are not eligible. Check DNS records, SMTP error, mailbox allowance and provider delivery state. Do not repeatedly click Send to diagnose missing data.
